Y'ALL.
One of my FAV blog posts // outfits // collabs of all times!!
Here's why:
I think the name of my blog kind of gives away the school I go to, but for those of you just tuning in, I go to Baylor & I love it! One thing I love about it is the uniqueness and how interconnected everything/everyone is! The connections are unreal; just like any school, you are automatically in a family of so many people you don't even know!
This past semester I had to take an illustration class (we won't even talk about the assignments // me attempting to draw), and my professor was a grad student attending UT, professing at Baylor & working on the side. Little did I know until halfway through the semester, she had been working on her own clothing line!
This linen pullover is one of her works (more coming to the blog soon, stay patient!!) & how fabulous it is!! Writing this blog post just makes me smile, because how awesome are these connections?! Not to be bias, but Baylor has my heart.
About Andie Day:
Andie graduated from Baylor in 2011 with a BSFCS degree in Fashion Design (I'm fashion merchandising). She has a Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre (Costume Design) that she received from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016. She's currently a Lecturer in the Apparel Design and Product Development and Apparel Merchandising program at Baylor. She also comes from a long family line of bears: hear parents graduated in '82, her brother graduated from his masters in 2010, and her youngest brother is graduating this year!
I love how Baylor gives you these connections!
Here's some details on the clothing:
Where can you find these items?
--The items are in stock both on her website, www.AndieShop.com & her Etsy shop, https://www.etsy.com/shop/AndieDayDesign.
Where are the pieces made?
--All items are made in Dallas & Austin with imported fabrics + trims. The fabric is from the Czech Republic. The fabrics are preshrunk before the garments are made so the customer should never have a problem shrinking. All items are 100% machine washable and machine dry-able. All garments are carefully designed on the inside & outside including french seams and bias facings. These details give them luxury finish and will extend the life of the garment! Andie designs the garments with extra room for comfort & style. No corners are cut and therefor the garments are much more likely to fit & flatter a wide range of body types!
I'll be blogging a few more of her pieces in the future, so stay tuned but know that the pajama sets are awesome! The shorts are cute with fuller legs, adding more comfort, movements and make your legs look slimmer!
I love that this clothing is so versatile, nice quality & you can almost wear it year round, at least in Texas! Ha! Seriously- I can''t wait to sport this pullover around campus!
If you have ANY questions about her products, please shoot me a message! I would love to answer anything I know or contact Andie for you! I think it's so neat to be supporting a fellow Baylor Bear in her journey, because we're all trying to make it somewhere, right?!
